Let's Give Thanks . . .

by Ken Davidson

I would like to invite all who read this to pause for a moment and express gratitude for something today.  I am grateful for so many things in my life, many of which I take for granted if I do not stop and take the time to reflect.  I am truly grateful for each and every Gazette reader and contributor.  A few short months ago, when I decided to start writing I never imagined that we would have a day when 60,000 people would visit our site.  I never imagined that we would receive so many tips that we could not follow up on all of them.  I am truly grateful for that.

Nonetheless, that is not what really matters.  What really matters is that I have my family and loved ones near me.  I cherish every moment that I have with my family.  I have everything that I need, in abundance.  I have the ability, at times, to help others who have less.  If there were one thing I would ask for, it would be that I had more to share.

Please take a moment to give thanks today, whether it is publicly here or, more importantly, in private to your loved ones.  Thank you all for your encouragement, support and trust.

Ken

I am grateful for life as we know it, love as we know and my family. I also am grateful that I love others and also in a position and would help others I encounter. I am grateful also that love has no enemy, fate smile on the wise and fools alike and wisdom can escapes both without the love of God.
