Fedex Story, an Apology

14 Dec

by Ken Davidson

The Gazette recently published a story about a Federal Express slamming a home in Hessville.  The story and a photo were submitted by a reader.  After we wrote the story, the person who sent the picture asked us not to use that picture.  I made a decision to publish the article with a canned photograph.  I should have made that clear in the article and I apologize for that.  The story is accurate, a Fed Ex truck slammed into a home in Hessville. There are photographs circulating on Facebook depicting the scene.  The Gazette has not received permission to use any of these photos.

Again, we apologize.  It was definitely a judgment error.
