Another Cell Phone Armed Robbery on 10/15

18 Oct

by Ken Davidson

The Hessville armed robbers may have been caught, but that apparently did not put an end to armed robberies for cell phones in Hammond. On October 15 at about 7:30 p.m., two black males wearing hoodies robbed an individual in the 7500 block of Columbia Avenue. The victim reported that the perpetrators pointed a gun and demanded his cell phone and cash.

Anyone with any information on this crime should contact the Hammond Police Department at 219-853-6490.
